PATH TO VICTORY. Have you prayed that God may reveal your enemies only to have people from your circle betray you, friends turning against you or pulling out of your life without any solid reason? Well, God wants you to know that not everyone you laugh with is your friend. The reason many potential Icons are stuck is because of the people you hung around with.Judges 7:2-8 > The Lord said to Gideon, The men you have are too many for me to give them victory over the midianites. They might think that they had won by themselves, and so give me no credit. Woow! See how jealous our God is? Haha, He cannot do the work and someone else takes the glory! Gideon had to hear God’s instructions and do as ordered to be rescued and obtain victory over the midianites. God knows your friends better than you; He looks at the heart, sees their inner motives and hears their conversations in your absence. He has good plans for your life and won’t take you to the next level with hypocrites. Some people draw close to collect any information that concerns your progress. Others read stars, I don’t know how but I hear they do, and are able to see exactly how your future will be. They later use the information to discourage you so you can give up on your God given dreams, vision or gifts. Some friends are quick to sense when you’re about to elevate; and will do anything within their power to hinder your growth. They hate seeing you above them and derive strength from your begging; when you’re always at their mercy, or same level with them. These are the kind of friends God wants to separate you from, so He alone takes the glory. That no one should boast it’s through their effort you made it in life. When you walk hand in hand with God, enemies of progress cannot stand against you no matter how stubborn they may be. Romans 8:31 > And if God is for us, who can be against us? In order for you to conquer the midianites in your path to success, you need to be very close to God; get intimate with Him so that you can clearly hear what he says, whom he speaks through and do as he commands you to do without listening to distractors. Only through the spiritual perspective will you be able to discern and see the real character of your so called friends. We are to take the violent by force, but also ought to be cautious as we do it. Remember you’re dealing with people who know much about you. Some of them have the keys to the doors you’re knocking. Be friendly and keen to their every thought, ideas and conversations. Judges verse 9 -15 clearly shows how smart our enemies of progress are. Verse 13, When Gideon arrived, he heard a man telling a friend about a dream. He was saying, ” I dreamt that a loaf of barley bread rolled into our camp and hit a tent. The tent collapsed and lay flat on the ground. Verse 14, His friend replied, it’s the sword of the Israelite, Gideon son of Joash! It can’t mean anything else! God has given him victory over Midian and our whole army. I recall years back while battling breast cancer,a “close friend” told me how she saw me standing on top of a mountain, giving my testimony. I didn’t take it lightly, and it came to pass! When you listen to them, you’ll know where to draw boundaries, what to share and when?,what to disclose and what not to. Just the other day, an enemy of progress gave me a piece of their mind which according to her was “advice,” on what she thinks I should do to ensure I suffer more! Haha, I laughed out loud in my heart, reversing her words! This is someone who’s been observing my family, telling me things that manifested later on.Witchcraft is real,and so is God! 1 John 4:4 He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. Go back to the enemy’s camp, take back what they stole from you! Philippians 1:6, And so I am sure that God, who began the good work in you,will carry it on until it is finished on the day of Jesus Christ.
